Sam has known Tucker and Danny since at least the second grade, as shown in Splitting Images. However, she keeps her family's wealth as a secret, only revealing it to her best friends in Attack of the Killer Garage Sale.
Sam's family is extremely wealthy, being descendants of the great inventor of the deli toothpick cellophane-twirling device.
